I have an increasing interest in installation work and especially in light and film installations. The thesis work I am currently working on is a play on breaking the border between installation and film. I work with both digital and analog film.

16 mm film and sound installation with two 16 mm projectors
“Based on True Stories” is exploring histories connected to the prairie land through a single glass negative portraying a family in front of a farm house.
Two 16mm film loops running through the projectors create sounds which are recorded and manipulated live into an atmosphere that corresponds to the film images.
This video was filmed when the installation was showcased in a private screening for the first time in April 20th in the University of Regina.
